A Major Announcement Was Made Regarding Former Boston Bruins Head Coach Jim Montgomery And It Changes Things

Just a couple weeks into the 2024-25 NHL season, the Boston Bruins decided to fire one of the best head coach's in the NHL in Jim Montgomery, and a major announcement was just made regarding him.
Montgomery had ties to the St. Louis organization as he was formerly an assistant head coach for the organization.
"I think it was more than just they couldn't reach financial terms, I think there was some talk over direction of the team," revealed Friedman. "I don't know if Sweeney and Montgomery saw the future the same way."
Major Announcement Regarding Jim Montgomery
Since joining the St. Louis Blues, they have completely turned their season around and are currently sitting in a playoff picture, and have won 10 games in a row, unlike the Bruins who under Joe Sacco have been terrible and are riding a 9 game losing streak.
Now there are reports that Jim Montgomery could be in conversation for the Jack Adams award. He has a 31-16-6 record with the Blues since taking over, and have them in a playoff spot.
Could Jim Montgomery be a Jack Adams Award finalist after getting fired midseason? The Blues are 31-16-6 with him and have vaulted into a playoff spot under him, and the Bruins have a worse point percentage without him (.475 with him and .463 without).
