A major revelation was just made regarding Boston Bruins goaltender Jeremy Swayman by the NHL.
Nobody imagined that Jeremy Swayman would be playing games in the NHL this early into the season, espeically with the way contract negotiations were going.
Swayman did not appear in the first game due to missing the entire training camp, and regular season with the Boston Bruins.
In his first game back with the team, he ended up getting the win, beating the Montreal Canadiens by a score of 6-4.
With this win, Jeremy Swayman picked up his 80th career win, and became the second fastest American Born goaltender in NHL history to this milestone.
Jeremy Swayman started his 2024-25 season with a victory and helped the @NHLBruins extend their point streak against the Canadiens to 15 games dating to Nov. 26, 2019, the League's longest active run against one franchise. #NHLFaceOff
