The Philadelphia Flyers decided it was time to part ways with their head coach on Thursday morning, and after the news broke, a shocking message was sent to the Boston Bruins.
John Tortorella was fired by the Philadelphia Flyers Thursday morning with just nine games remaining in their season. The Flyers currently have a 28-36-9 record, after many believed that they were going to be a playoff team this year with how close they were to making the playoffs last year.
His latest comments following a 6-2 loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs ultimately lead to his firing, but since the news broke now fans are calling for the Boston Bruins to do the same with Don Sweeney, and Cam Neely.

Neely recently spoke with the Boston Globe regarding the struggles they are enduring this year, and how the fan base has had some harsh criticism towards the organization following the NHL trade deadline. Fans are still not happy with their decision to move captain Brad Marchand to the Florida Panthers.
Not only that, but the Bruins also got rid of Brandon Carlo who went to another divisional rival in the Toronto Maple Leafs, Charlie Coyle went to Colorado, Trent Frederic to Edmonton, and Justin Brazeau went to Minnesota.
Neely shockingly admitted that they are expecting their fans to boo the team whenever they return to home ice on April 1st.
Fans Are Now Demanding The Bruins Fire Sweeney And Neely
After Tortorella got fired by the Flyers, Bruins fans are now demanding that the Boston Bruins do the exact same thing with Don Sweeney, and Cam Neely. Multiple fans took to social media and demanded that both of them should be fired by the end of the year.
This season has been a train wreck for the Boston Bruins, and the team is currently on a seven game losing streak. They are also set to miss the playoffs for the first time since the 2015-16 season.
