A surprising announcement was just made today regarding Boston Bruins captain Brad Marchand.
Brad Marchand was set to make his debut on Tuesday night against the Philadelphia Flyers, but it didn't last long for the captain.
Marchand would end up leaving the game, and not returning. Many thought it might have to do with the off-season surgeries Brad Marchand ended having, but the Boston Bruins made it clear it was just due to an illness.
Brad Marchand has been held off the ice the past couple of days, but today some big news struck the Boston Bruins as Brad Marchand was present at practice this morning.
The Boston Bruins have one more preseason game to play, which will take place tomorrow against the Washington Capitals, where we will most likely see the Boston Bruins official opening night roster.
Today during practice the Boston Bruins were running lines that will more then likely be what they run for opening night, except Charlie McAvoy was absent from practice.
Jim Montgomery revealed that Charlie McAvoy was missing from practice today due to maintenance.
