On Wednesday, Charlie Jacobs, Cam Neely and Don Sweeney had their end of season press conference at TD Garden.

Bruins CEO speaks on why Neely and Sweeney still have a job
This is what Jacobs had to say about the situation:
«We've been in this boat before, that is, having a team that's missed the playoffs, and frankly, building it back,» Jacobs said. «We've done this, Cam and Don successfully have done this.
«While we did not win the Stanley Cup, we came pretty darn close. We've also set the record for the most wins in a regular season in the history of the National Hockey League. All a team that's constructed by Cam and Don.»
Don Sweeney's contract with the Boston Bruins comes to an end after next season, and it will be interesting to see if they end up renewing his contract or not.
