The Boston Bruins made a massive announcement involving former Bruins legend and former captain Zdeno Chara.
Game one of the NBA Finals between the Boston Celtics and Mavericks took place last night and Boston Bruins legend Zdeno Chara was honored before the game.

The Celtics have been recognizing hometown athletes since 1997 and they will honor will be awarding one athlete with the teams "heroes among us" award throughout the NBA Finals.
The Celtics went on to win game one by a big margin taking it 107-89. Even thought the Bruins were knocked out of the playoffs, Bruins nation will be cheering on the Celtics in Finals.
