There are a lot of rumours surrounding the Boston Bruins, they have stated that they want to get faster and bring in secondary scoring this off-season and they are going to be aggressive in free agency.
David Pagnotta has reported that the Winnipeg Jets will be listening to offers on forward Nikolaj Ehlers as he isn't interested in re-signing with the team after next season.
Ehlers has scoring 20-plus goals in seven seasons, with having 25 goals this season and 61 points in a full 82 game season with the Winnipeg Jets.
With the rumours of Jake DeBrusk potentially leaving the Boston bruins that could open up a spot for Ehlers, the Bruins would be losing a good young winger but if they could manage to acquire Ehlers it might even be looked at as an upgrade.
The Bruins could also try and work out a sign-and-trade type of deal with DeBrusk to make the trade work, as they might not have the current assets to make the deal work.
