A shocking statement was recently released regarding a completed trade that erupted between the Boston Bruins and Florida Panthers, and it's surprising.

The Boston Bruins' fanbase was hit with an absolute gut-wrenching announcement in March during the NHL Trade Deadline last season.
As the Bruins' general manager, Don Sweeney, and the front office made an unbelievable move, which saw the organization's 16-year veteran and captain, Brad Marchand, traded to the Florida Panthers.
This trade was extremely unpredicted as Boston fans were hopeful that this loyal and talented vet would complete his NHL career as a Bruin, yet, things changed fast.
Following Marchand's unfortunate departure, it ultimately seemed that the Boston Bruins lost their spark, as this organization quickly fell into the NHL basement, completing their 2024/25 season out of postseason contention.
Meanwhile, Marchand made airwaves in the playoffs with his new organization, where he recorded 10 goals, 10 assists, totalling at a whopping 20 points within 23 games endured.
Marchand's incredible gameplay evidently took a massive roll in the Florida Panthers winning their second Stanley Cup in a row.
However, Marchand's drive and passion for the game of hockey was never left unnoticed by Bruins fans, and a recent statement has revealed that others recognize it as well.

Former NHLer, Andy Brickley, reveals his frustrations towards the Boston Bruins organization, and their decision to depart with Brad Marchand

A recent statement has just surfaced the media, revealing Boston Bruins fans are not the only ones who are frustrated with the organization's decision to depart with Brad Marchand.
As Andrew Brickley, a former NHL player who spent 14-seasons playing professional hockey, and who is now a Bruins broadcasting member, revealed that he is thoroughly disappointed by the Boston Bruins' decision to trade their loyal vet.
Take a look:
«[Marchand is] maybe the 'strongest willed to compete and win' player I've ever come across. When you let a guy like that walk out the door, it bothers me.»
Despite the unfortunate circumstances, a majority of the Boston Bruins' fanbase can agree with this statement.
Do you agree with Brickley and his perspective regarding the departure of the Boston Bruins' former Brad Marchand?
