The off-season is well underway, and now a trade proposal has been made that would see the Boston Bruins and Colorado Avalanche combining for a blockbuster trade.
Heading into the new season, the Boston Bruins are looking to get back into the Stanley Cup Playoffs, but they need to add some skill to their lineup.
With the Bruins needing to add some skill into their lineup, Heavy.com has proposed a massive trade that would see the Boston Bruins acquiring a game changing player in Martin Necas.

This would be a blockbuster trade between the two teams, and could be beneficial for both, as it seems like both these players could use a change of scenery.
Does Necas want out of Colorado?
Mid-season, the Carolina Hurricanes traded Necas to the Avalanche. Necas was supposed to fill the void of Rantanen, but it hasn't worked out how they imagined.
Necas was impressive offensively, but he didn't exactly fit in with the team, and because of that, his name has been in trade rumors some even involving the Boston Bruins.
«After the Avalanche moved Rantanen because of how difficult they perceived contract extension talks to be going, how much patience will they have with Necas - not a homegrown player or superstar talent - if negotiations on an extension start slowly this July? There was a sense Necas wasn't overly thrilled with his experience in Colorado and that he wants to explore other options,» Kypreos wrote.
It will be interesting to watch this situation, and even if the Bruins don't trade for him, he is set to become a UFA after this season.
