Transaction: The Boston Bruins made a massive roster announcement

Today, the NHL regular season officially begins for a couple of teams in the league, and the Boston Bruins have made a roster announcement.
Boston, unfortunately doesn't play until Wednesday, when they hit the road to face off against the Washington Capitals for their opening game of the season.
Just the other day, Bruins management had some tough decisions to make regarding the roster, and some players had to be placed on waivers.
Jonathan Aspirot, Matej Blumel, Michael DiPietro and Alex Steeves have been placed on waivers for the purpose of assignment to Providence.
Matt Poitras will report to Providence Bruins Training Camp.
All four players ended up clearing, thankfully, but many around the league believed that there was a chance they weren't going to finish the day yesterday with all four of them heading back to Providence.

For the past couple of days, there has been some speculation on what the
Boston Bruins opening night roster was going to look like, while now we have the answer.
Don Sweeney had to submit his official opening night roster yesterday by 5 p.m. and now we know what it looks like:
