The Boston Bruins ended up placing four players on waivers yesterday, and two of them were a surprise. Now their fate has been confirmed.

After being placed on waivers, many believed that the Bruins would lose a couple of players today.
Jimmy Murphy, an NHL insider believed that the Toronto Maple Leafs or Calgary Flames could claim goaltender Michael DiPietro.
Fortunately enough, DiPietro ended up clearing waivers, and will now report to the Providence Bruins.
Looks like DiPietro cleared

Every Bruins player placed on waivers cleared

According to multiple reports, even PuckPedia, everyone the Boston Bruins ended up placing on waivers yesterday ended up clearing today.

Matej Blümel, Jonathan Aspirot, Alex Steeves and Michael DiPietro have all cleared waivers and are going down to Providence.
Many believed that Matek Blumel was going to make the Bruins opening night roster, but that wasn't the case.
There was belief that he could be a player claimed by a different organization, especially after leading the AHL in goals, and tied for second for most points last year.
The Boston Bruins now have their opening night roster set for when they take on the Washington Capitals on Wednesday night.
Steeves was another interesting one as he had the second highest shot total in the AHL last season.
It's pretty interesting to see none of them getting claimed.
