Jeremy Swayman has clearly taken over the starting role for the Boston Bruins allowing them to move on from Linus Ullmark and his $5 million cap hit.
The Bruins need to address a lot this off-season as they have already stated they want to get faster and bring in players that will provide secondary scoring, and moving on from Ullmark and his cap will allow the Bruins to have more freedom in addressing those needs.
Don Sweeney and the Bruins don't have many high-end prospects or picks coming up in this draft as they only have picks in the 4th, 5th, and 6th round.
Recent reports have revealed the New Jersey Devils will be willing to trade their 10th overall pick in the draft this year in exchange for a starting goalie and that's where the Boston Bruins come into play.
The Bruins obviously aren't the only ones in on this pick, as other reports revealed the Devils are also interested in Jacob Markstrom, and Juuse Saros.
Even if the Boston Bruins don't get the 10th overall pick, they could still trade Ullmark for a top 6 forward which will help them a lot especially if they lose Jake DeBrusk this off-season.
