The Boston Bruins have officially signed Tanner Jeannot.

Elliotte Friedman just reported that the Boston Bruins have signed Tanner Jeanno to a five-year contract, $3.4 million deal.

There are some mixed feelings on this signing by the Boston Bruins.
Some fans are really liking it while others are not the biggest fan of it.
Regardless how anyone feels about it, Jeannot brings some much needed grit to the Boston Bruins, and basically replaces Trent Frederic.
Jeannot loves to throw the body, and isn't afraid to drop the gloves with anyone, he also likes to torment his opponents on the forecheck.
Jeannot adds some much needed grit to the #NHLBruins bottom six. He won't light up the scoresheet but he's one hell of a tough customer that can punish opponents on the forecheck. AAV and term are a bit much for my taste.
Four years ago, Jeannot had 24 goals, 17 assists for 41 points along with 130 penalty minutes.
He fits the Boston Bruins identity perfectly, even though the term and AAV might be a little high, but the salary cap is increasing over the next three years.
Stay tuned for further updates.
