Brad Marchand Reportedly Out Long-Term With Injury Following Trade To The Florida Panthers

Before being traded, Brad Marchand was injured in a game against the Pittsburgh Penguins, originally he was listed as week-to-week, but a new report has come out, and Marchand could be out long-term.
Marchand being injured could have possibly played a big part in how little of a return they got for him at the NHL trade deadline.
Fans were not happy with the return the Boston Bruins got for trading Brad Marchand, as they only got a conditional second-round pick.
Here is the condition on the pick the Bruins acquired for Brad Marchand:
2027 conditional second-round pick (will become a 2027 or 2028 first-round draft pick if Florida wins two rounds of the 2025 Stanley Cup Playoffs and Marchand appears in at least 50% of the team's playoff games)
It seems like Marchand may be out longer then expected.

A report today leaked some information regarding Brad Marchand's injury.
Boston Bruins reporter Kevin Paul Dupont stated that it is believed Brad Marchand's injury is to due with his shoulder, and he will be out for 4-6 weeks.
Dupont revealed that Marchand could possibly be back just before the NHL playoffs kickoff this year.
Rumors increasing that Marchand injury is shoulder, originally with 4-6 week recovery period.

Brad Marchand went from a selling Boston Bruins team, to a contending Florida Panthers team. Hoping Marchand can chase the Stanley Cup one more time before retiring.
