Chris Pelosi is set to step away from the Bruins organization soon, but it's for an exciting reason. The young prospect was announced to team USA's roster for the World Juniors.
Today the rosters for the World Juniors ended up coming out, and the Bruins will have Chris Pelosi representing them for team USA this year.
Although he still has a chance to be cut because he was named to their preliminary roster, and team USA has to cut three players before the tournament starts, but being invited in the first place is a special moment for the young forward.

Pelosi has appeared in 13 games so far this season in the ECAC with the University of Quinnipiac and has two goals, along with five points. The 19-year-old, 6-foot-2 forward last year had an impressive 21 goals, 34 assists for 54 points with the Sioux Falls Stampede in the USHL last season.
Pelosi has a lot of potential and this year
Black N' Gold Hockey ranked Chris Pelosi 13th overall in the Boston Bruins prospect pool, ahead of some notable names like
Marc McLaughlin who we have seen in the NHL with the Boston Bruins this year.
Even if Pelosi doesn't make it out of the preliminary round with team USA, being listed on their in the first place is a huge accomplishment.
