Last minute announcement from the Boston Bruins: It's now confirmed to the media

Today is a special day for the United States as a whole, and the Boston Bruins just took some time to recgonize that on social media in a last minute announcement.
Recently, Canada celebrated their birthday, but today is the United States birthday, and the Boston Bruins issued a statement to the media:

Bruins off-season
Despite needing to find some help in the top-six during the off-season, Boston Bruins general manager Don Sweeney made so weird signings during free agency.
During the opening day of free agency on July 1st, Don Sweeney ended up making a total of 10 signings, but did not address the gaping whole in the top-six.
Along with that, he ended up signing a bunch of depth/bottom-six players, despite saying that their prospects are going to get more chances during the 2025-26 season.
The list of players the Boston Bruins ended up signing include Matěj Blümel, Michael Eyssimont, Sean Kuraly, Alex Steeves, Jordan Harris, Tanner Jeannot, Jonathan Aspirot, Luke Cavallin, and Riley Tufte.
Along with this, Don Sweeney ended up making a trade during right after free agency opened, trading a 5th in 2027 for Edmonton Oilers forward Viktor Arvidsson.

Still pending league trade call but Viktor Arvidsson, who waived his no-trade, going to Boston for a future/mid-round draft pick.
It will be interesting to see if Don Sweeney makes some trades to try and fill the big gaping whole in the Bruins top-six this off-season.
