Major Development: Boston Bruins To Acquire Brady Tkachuk? It Was Just Confirmed

After the 4 Nations tournament, there was a bunch of rumours linking the Boston Bruins to Ottawa Senators captain Brady Tkachuk. After being eliminated from the Stanley Cup Playoffs, it was confirmed on whether or not the Bruins were going to try and acquire him or not.
The Ottawa Senators ended up making the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the first time since 2017, but were an early exit after losing to the Toronto Maple Leafs in the Battle of Ontario.
After being eliminated, Senators captain Brady Tkachuk confirmed his plans moving forward on whether or not he is going to be leaving the organization or not.
Brady Tkachuk's Fate With The Bruins Confirmed
Tkachuk ended up confirming that he does not have any plans to leave the Ottawa Senators organization, and stated he wants to stay with the team that drafted him.
He ended up speaking about rumours of him possibly leaving the organization and had this to say:
«Obviously it's a lie,» Tkachuk said. «All those articles, stories It's just not true. But I think it's on me if I let that bother me or take me off what I'm trying to do. Everyone knows that I'll do whatever it takes to win.

There were a lot of rumours surrounding Tkachuk's fate with the Senators, and with his relationship with Boston Bruins Charlie McAvoy, it sparked more rumours that the Bruins may be interested in him if he does hit the trade block.
Acquiring someone like Tkachuk would be game changing for the Boston Bruins, but it doesn't seem like it's likely to happen.
