Yesterday, just before training camp began for the Boston Bruins, they were hit with some unfortunate news as it was revealed that David Pastrnak has suffered an injury.
Today, the Boston Bruins ended up hosting their first on ice session, and following it, new head coach Marco Sturm revealed some new details on Pastrnak's injury.
Don Sweeney stated yesterday that Pastrnak was not going to be practicing with the team for the first couple of days because he was dealing with some tendinitis.
Sweeney: Pastrnak won't fully practice for a couple of days to open camp. Dealing with some tendinitis, but Sweeney deemed it as «load management».
Although he is not practicing with the team, Pastrnak was spotted on the ice skating and shooting the puck before the Bruins hosted their first on ice session.
Pastrnak is indeed skating as well as shooting this morning
For the sake of the Bruins, they are hopeful that Pastrnak is able to fully heal before the beginning of the season, as he is going to play a massive role in them trying to get back to being a competitive team.
