The Bruins have completed a goaltender move that has left fans scratching their head before their game tonight.
Boston is set to faceoff against the Ottawa Senators once again tonight, and will be looking to get some revenge.
Last time these two teams met on October 27th, the Bruins got dominated, losing the game 7-2.
Tonight, both teams are changing that, but Bruins fans are puzzled by the decision from the organization.
Bruins fans to miss out on Ullmark-Swayman matchup
Entering the game, Bruins head coach Marco Sturm confirmed that
Joonas Korpisalo is going to get the start for the Bruins.
Sounds like Joonas Korpisalo is tonight's Boston Bruins starting goaltender against the visiting Ottawa Senators.
In six games this season the 31-year-old netminder is 3-3-0 with a 3.49 GAA & .882 Save%.
For the Ottawa Senators,
Linus Ullmark will be guarding the crease tonight.
Old friend Linus Ullmark first off at Ottawa skate.
Bruins fans could have had the opportunity to see two friends and former teammates go head-to-head at TD Garden, but instead the Bruins are going with Korpisalo in net.
Mind you,
Korpisalo has had some really good games against his former team, but it would have been cool to see at TD Garden.
The Bruins are looking to extend their winning streak to five games tonight.
Puck drop is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET at TD Garden.
