New insight reveals Boston Bruins' general manager, Don Sweeney, is speculated to make a move in pursuing a former 9th overall pick, as he was just made available for free.
Allvin's purpose of this move was of terminating Kravtsov's contract.
This was revealed by the Vancouver Canucks' official social media page on "X".
"General Manager Patrik Allvin announced today that F Vitali Kravtsov has been placed on unconditional waivers for purpose of contract termination."
Vitali Kravtsov, 25, has not played with the Canucks for over two season, as he was acquired by the New York Rangers in a trade in 2023.
He was originally selected ninth-overall by the Rangers in the 2018 NHL Draft, and has endured 64 NHL games over three season of his career, accumulating six goals and six assists.

Due to Kravtsov's current standpoint in the National Hockey League, rumours have began to surface, linking the Boston Bruins to using this to their advantage and acquiring a talented forward.
