This morning, a Bruins reporter surprisingly was asking for the NHL Department of Player Safety to step in.
If the NHL Player Safety does step in, Zadorov could either face a fine or be
suspended for his cheap shot.
Here is what the Bruins reporter had to say:
Definition of cheap shot: Rookie on knee, no ability to brace for hit, Zadorov hits thru w/ head as target, neck snaps back. Et tu, NHL Player Safety?
After the game,
Zadorov's Instagram DMs were filled with hate from Islander fans.
