NHL insider drops a massive report on Jeremy Swayman and the Boston Bruins situation

While training camp is a little over a week away, Boston Bruins fans are eager to see Jeremy Swayman sign a new contract with the team.
There have been reports that the two were far apart on money, recently thanks to Ryan Whitney of Barstool. However, it's been unconfirmed, as day by day we hear new things about the talks between the goalie and the team.
The latest NHL Insider to offer a perspective and what they've heard is Darren Dreger of TSN.
Dreger thinks that while a contract won't be happening soon, the two parties are closer than we think.
So did Lewis Gross and Don Sweeny overcome the hurdle of time, or did they figure out money?
The pain fans must be going through now, is just unimaginable, as the situation is murky and there's no way to see the truth through all these reports.
But for our sake, let's hope that Dreger is correct.
