Nikita Zadorov flattens Tanner Jeannot with a massive open ice hit
The Boston Bruins during their third game of the season have looked super sloppy just like they did during game one against the Florida Panthers, and Nikita Zadorov was looking to find a way to give the Boston Bruins some momentum.
The Bruins were trailing 1-0 after
Trevor Moore scored for the LA Kings on a power play goal, and not long after Zadorov laid a massive hit on Jeannot.
1-0 Kings. Good puck movement on the power play and then a great bounce to a wide open Trevor Moore.
Tanner Jeannot was coming down along the boards with the puck, when Nikita Zadorov stepped up and laid a massive open ice hit on him.
Earlier in the period Nikita Zadorov took a penalty off a hit he threw on Tanner Jeannot, where he caught him in his numbers and got a 2 minute minor for boarding.
Following the hit, Tanner Jeannot did not like it, and chased Zadorov all the way to the bench challenging him to a fight. Zadorov was probably doing him a favour as the 6'6 250 LBS defenceman would probably rag doll him around.
