With the recent injury news the Bruins received, they may be forced to recall a player from the AHL, and two players have been listed as potential call-ups.
In their most recent game against the Montreal Canadiens, the Bruins lost two key players to injuries.
With this news, the Bruins may be forced to make a roster transaction and recall a player from the Providence Bruins.
They more than likely won't have to recall a defenseman considering they have an extra defenseman up already, but two forwards are being held out of the Providence Bruins game this afternoon, and one, or both could be recalled.
Tufte and Blumel held out of game
The Providence Bruins are gearing up for an afternoon game today, and it was reported that both
Riley Tufte and
Matej Blumel are missing from the lineup.
This has led to speculation that one of them, or both, could be recalled to the Boston Bruins.
Both Blumel and Tufte have had solid showings for Providence. Tufte in 13 games has 8 goals and 8 assists for 16 points. Blumel, on the other hand, has 2 goals and 11 assists for 13 points in 13 games.

Both have played well enough to warrant a callup, if that is what is in the cards here
In 13 games, Tufte has 8-8-16 and Blumel has 2-11-13.
Do you think both of these players deserve to be recalled by the Boston Bruins?
