Rumor: Boston Bruins reunite with former forward after completing a trade with the Anaheim Ducks

A new trade proposal sees the Boston Bruins acquiring a former forward of the organization in a trade with the Anaheim Ducks.
This season, the Boston Bruins are looking to turn things around after having a terrible season last year.
One of their goals is to make it back to playoff contention, and they are going to counting on their veteran core.
Don Sweeney should be doing what he can to help the Boston Bruins get back to being a top team in the Atlantic Division.
With that being said, a recent trade proposal from heavy.com sees the Boston Bruins acquiring former winger Frank Vatrano from the Anaheim Ducks.
Bruins bring back Vatrano in a proposed trade with the Ducks
Vatrano ended up spending three seasons with the Boston Bruins, before leaving the organization, but now he could be seen as a valuable member.
In the proposed trade from heavy.com, the Boston Bruins would acquire Frank Vatrano from the Ducks in a 1-for-1 trade, sending Casey Mittelstadt back the other way.

Vatrano was never a top prospect for the Boston Bruins, having his best season in 2016-17 when he scored 10 goals in 44 games.
The Bruins did not want to keep him around, and he ended up walking away from the organization signing with the Florida Panthers.
Vatrano ended up scoring 24 goals with the Florida Panthers in 2018, but could not hit the 20 goal mark again after that.
He then signed with the Ducks in 2022, where he immideately found a way to get over the 20 goal mark again, and then had a career year in 2023 where he scored 37 goals.
Vatrano would be a great addition to the Bruins who are looking for some scoring depth entering the new year.
