Things got pretty ugly for the Bruins in their game against the Ottawa Senators, and Marco Sturm ended up making some mid-game changes, but it hasn't worked.

The Bruins had some momentum entering tonight's game after beating one of the best teams in the league, the Colorado Avalanche.
Boston played a sound game against the Colorado Avalanche, defeating them 3-2 and handing them their first regulation loss.
Before that game, Sturm changed up the defensive pairings, putting Nikita Zadorov with Charlie McAvoy and Mason Lohrei with Andrew Peeke.
This was because the McAvoy-Lohrei pair has been terrible all season.
For some reason, heading into tonight's game, Sturm decided to throw McAvoy and Lohrei back together, and it didn't pay off.

The Senators quickly got on the scoresheet in the third period, scoring just 13 seconds in and then ran away with the game from there.
They went on to score 4 goals in the third to give them a 7-1 lead.

Do you think McAvoy and Lohrei need to be broken up for good?
