Zadorov since being brought into the Bruins organization has had a lot of controversy around him for making terrible plays, and taking a lot of unnecessary penalties that have come back to bite the Bruins.

After originally being placed on the top line with Charlie McAvoy, Zadorov has bounced around between the top defensive pairing and the third pairing despite the Bruins signing him to a massive six-year, $5 million deal in the off-season.

During the opening frame of the Bruins-Stars game, Jamie Benn sent Brandon Carlo head-first into the boards and Nikita Zadorov quickly came to his defence.
