Canadiens' forward Mike Hoffman has released a video, publicly calling out Player Safety regarding the cross check from A.J. Greer of the Bruins.

Greer was handed a one game suspension for a high cross check to Hoffman's face on Thursday night, leaving him leaking on the ice. Hoffman returned wearing a full face cage, and judging by his recent video, is sporting quite the wound on his chin.

Publicly Calling Out the NHL

Hoffman turned to his Instagram story to show his disappointment with the league's decision. See below:

''I've gotten a two-game suspension for cross-checking a guy in the back of the helmet. A full-blown, intentional cross-check to the face? One game. Hmmm.''

Hoffman is referring to a cross check he delivered to Sharks forward Logan Couture back in 2016.

One could argue that a cross check to the back of the head is more dangerous than one to the chin. Based off of how serious head injuries in the NHL are, anyways.
