Bruins Gameday: What to expect!
Another Boston Bruins home game tonight, and it's going to be an action-packed matchup versus The Colorado Avalanche.
This is the Bruins' first of two games against the Avalanche this season, as they play again in Colorado next Wednesday. Coming in, Boston has won 19 games before the month of December for the first time in franchise history (19-3-0).
The Bruins are second overall in the NHL, only surpassed by the New Jersey Devils, who are 19-4-1. The latter has played two more games and only holds one more point.
Tonight the Bruins have an opportunity to snag the first-place position in the league ranking. Meanwhile, the Avalanche are currently third in the Central Division with a 13-7-1 record after a slow start to the season.
Colorado also announced they have recalled
Andreas Englund from The Colorado Eagles of the AHL.
Even though the Avalanche are plagued with injuries (and still winning), while the Bruins are on a hot streak and breaking record after record, we shouldn't consider this one in the bag yet.
I predict we will have to fight hard for this one, and this will be an anxiety-inducing action-packed game filled with ups and downs.
