This morning, the Boston Bruins got some more worrying news regarding star defenseman Hampus Lindholm, as he was once again absent from practice today.
Lindholm ended up suffering a season ending injury last year, and it looked like the same situation was happening in just the second game of the season.
In the first period against the Chicago Blackhawks, Lindholm didn't play in the final 8:04 of the period.
No Hampus Lindholm to start the second. He did not play the final 8:04 of the first.
The Boston Bruins ended up issuing an announcement later on stating that he would not return to the game.
UPDATE: Hampus Lindholm (lower body) will not return to tonight's game.
«Marco Sturm said Hampus Lindholm is day to day, and expects him to be back on the ice tomorrow.»

Despite Sturm stating that Lindholm was going to be back at practice today, reports have confirmed that he has not skated.
No sign of Hampus Lindholm (lower-body injury) as the #Bruins start Sunday morning practice.
Lindholm may be dealing with a bigger injury than expected, and could possibly be out longer.
