Last year at the trade deadline, Boston Bruins general manager Don Sweeney went out and got David Krejci a winger in veteran Rick Nash.

Unfortunately Nash was a bit banged up and eventually suffered a concussion, not good, especially considering he already had some concussion history.
Nash was supposed to be one of the top free agents on the market this summer however the former 50 goal scorer decided to step away from the game for a minute to reassess his health and future in hockey.
With Nash out and the Bruins failing to land Ilya Kovalchuk or anybody else, it's left Krejci not knowing who his linemates will be and missing Nash.
With an injury history of his own, Krejci understands Nash's decision.
"It was tough luck for him. His body has been through a lot. He's been playing in the league for a really long time — over 1,000 (games)," Krejcj said, via MassLive. "A concussion, that never helps. It's hard to recover from those kind of injuries. Not really sure how he's feeling right now, but it's his decision, it's his life. He's not just a hockey player, he's also a father and he needs to make sure his health is the No. 1 priority."

As of now it's looking like Krejci will have to play with at least one of Anders Bjork, Danton Heinen, Ryan Donato and maybe even David Pastrnak.
