Duncan Keith officially announced retirement after 17 NHL seasons

Duncan Keith has officially announced his retirement from the NHL.
Keith will go down as one of the greatest defenseman in NHL history, as a three-time Stanley Cup champion, two-time Olympic Gold Medallist, two-time Norris Trophy winner and the 2015 Conn Smythe Trophy winner.
The veteran was traded to the Edmonton Oilers in exchange for
Caleb Jones. However, Chicago now gets the odd end of the trade, as Keith retiring hits the them with a large cap penalty.

The Blackhawks posted a amazing and emotional tribute upon the announcement of Keith's retirement.
The Edmonton Oilers, who he spent his final season with also paid Keith a tribute on social media.
