It was just confirmed for Evgeny Kuznetsov and it's big for the Bruins

Evgeny Kuznetsov was placed on unconditional waivers for contract termination this week. He was available to be claimed by many teams in the NHL, including the Boston Bruins who needed a top-nine winger.
This is good news for players like Georgii Merkulov or
Fabian Lysell, as the Bruins have decided not to move for Kuznetsov.
As a result, the forward will return to Russia and play in the KHL to place with SKA St. Petersburg.
He will now, take
Ivan Demidov's place in the lineup as a result.
"Evgeny Kuznetsov was passed over on unconditional waivers.
He is now an unrestricted free agent and can sign anywhere he wants."
- Elliotte Friedman
So he is officially a member of SKA St. Petersburg, which means the Bruins can rely upon their new possible promotions of Lysell and Merkulov to hopefully propel the lineup forward in the future.
Kuznetsov was a 26th overall pick in the 2010 NHL Draft and has 575 points in 743 NHL games.
We wish Kuznetsov the best of luck in his KHL career!
But we also look forward to Fabian Lysell and Georgii Merkulov's future with the Boston Bruins.
