On Saturday night, during the Minnesota Wild's clash with the Vegas Golden Knights, forward Ryan Hartman found himself in hot water.

Near the game's end, Hartman received a 10-minute misconduct, ejecting him from the game. Although the incident was not captured by cameras, reports suggest it may have significant consequences.
According to insider Mike Russo, the NHL's Department of Player Safety is contemplating a three-game suspension for Hartman.
I think you'll end up being right. But the league is debating giving him the automatic three game suspension that comes with throwing stick in general direction of official.

Allegedly, he threw his stick in frustration towards an official following an uncalled high stick from the Golden Knights' Noah Hanifin.
The NHL's rule 40.4 regarding abuse of officials is clear-cut, making Hartman's situation precarious.
Ouch.
