The 2022 IIHF World Junior Championships get will start Tuesday, August 9th in Edmonton, Alberta, and run until August 20th.
The tournament originally began back in late December and early January but was cancelled due to COVID-19. The 'redo' is almost ready to start as the last two teams have announced their 25-man rosters, the United States and Latvia.
The Boston Bruins have a representative on both teams as well:
Riley Duran was the Bruins sixth-round (162nd overall) pick in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft, and spent last season with Providence College recording 19 points in 38 games.
Dans Locmelis was named to Latvia's roster and was recently drafted by the Bs in the fourth-round (119th overall) in the 2022 draft. He is one of only three NHL prospects on Latvia's roster.
Bruins top prospect Fabian Lysell will also be representing Sweden at the tournament.
