Now NHL insiders have revealed that he has officially been traded, and is heading to an unexpected Eastern Conference team.
Multiple NHL insiders have confirmed that the Philadelphia Flyers have acquired Ducks forward Trevor Zegras.
There have been reports for the past two years that the Anaheim Ducks have wanted to move on from
Zegras.
Monday morning, Elliotte Friedman revealed that the Ducks were looking to move him sometime this week, and not even two hours later a deal was put together.
Hearing Trevor Zegras will be traded to Philadelphia
The Anaheim Ducks are getting back a depth player in
Ryan Poehling, he 45th overall pick in the 2025 NHL Draft, and a 4th round pick in 2026.
Ducks will get Poehling, pick 45 overall this year and 4th Rd pick in 2026 in return for Zegras
This kind of came out of nowhere and shocked the hockey community, but the rumors for the past two years can finally be put to rest.
