Goaltender Jeremy Swayman is the latest player from this team to receive league honours after an incredible week for the Boston Bruins.

A Much-Needed Bounce Back

As per Bruins PR:

''The NHL announced today, March 20, that goaltender Jeremy Swayman has been named the NHL's Third Star of the Week for the week ending on March 19.''

After two straight losses, Swayman went 2-0-0, stopping all 62 shots in back-to-back shutouts against the Jets (3-0) and Sabres (7-0) this week. The 24-year-old also became the first Bruins goaltender to record consecutive shutouts since Tuukka Rask in 2011.

In 30 games this season, the Alaskan native has a collected a 18-6-4 record, a 2.20 GAA (3rd) and a .920 SV% (4th). He's also tied for third with four shutouts.

With Swayman's performance as of late, and Linus Ullmark's Vezina-calibre consistency, Boston arguably has the best goalie duo in the NHL.
