The Boston Bruins are playing their final game at home before going on a little road trip, and just got some positive news on defenseman Hampus Lindholm.
After todays game against the Tampa Bay Lightning, the Boston Bruins will hit the road where they will play the next three games.
Just before their game today, a positive announcement was made regarding Hampus Lindholm.
Bruins haven't recalled any players
The Boston Bruins have not had any calls up, which is a good case for Lindholm.
If they did make some, it would more than likely mean that he's going to be out longer than expected.
The #NHLBruins depart for their road trip following today's matinee with the Tampa Bay Lightning. Still no call up from Providence which is good news for Hampus Lindholm. But that's still to be determined.
Marco Sturm keeps stating that Hampus Lindholm is just labelled as day-to-day right now.
It's unclear how true this is, but he did return back to the ice for the Boston Bruins yesterday.
At first, it was reported that he was missing from practice, but later on it was revealed that he did in fact skate before the regular group of players.
It seems like the Bruins are once again going to be without Lindholm for tonight's game, but his return should be soon.
