An unexpected development has surfaced in ex-Boston Bruin Milan Lucic's return to the NHL

Ahead of his return to the NHL, it looks like an unexpected development has surfaced for Milan Lucic, and he already has someone who wants to fight him.
During his NHL career, there is one player that Matt Rempe has wanted to drop the gloves with.
It didn't seem like it was going to actually happen after Milan Lucic was involved in some legal issues two years ago.
Lucic and his wife ended up getting into a conflict, which resulted in the Boston Bruins terminating his NHL contract.
This was after he joined the Boston Bruins for his second tenure, and Lucic appeared in just four games for the Bruins during the 2023-24 season.
During those 4 games, Lucic scored two assists for the Boston Bruins.
Milan Lucic already has someone who wants to drop the gloves with him
Awhile ago, Rempe had a autograph signing, and he was asked who someone is that he wanted to drop the gloves with.
After thinking about the question, Rempe ended up saying "Lucic" while looking right at the camera.
Recently, the St. Louis Blues ended up signing Lucic to a PTO, giving him a second chance after he got into legal trouble.
It very well seemed like his career was going to be over, especially after he was not handed a contract last season.
But, despite the odds, it looks like there is a good chance he makes a return, and earns a contract from the Blues.
This would give Matt Rempe the chance to get his wish; to drop the gloves with Lucic.
