The Boston Bruins ended up completing a move while in Los Angeles at the NHL draft, that will ultimately lead them back to playoff contention.

The 2024-25 season was a tough one for a lot of Boston Bruins, but Hampus Lindholm ended up going through it the most.
Lindholm only appeared in 17 games for the Boston Bruins last season, scoring just 3 goals, and 4 assists for 7 points.
After missing so much time last year, he ended up learning a lot, and did not hold back on a recent appearance on Elliotte Friedman's 32 Thoughts podcast.
«I felt like watching the games, it was hard to really see what our identity was,» Lindholm said on 32 Thoughts: The Podcast during the NHL/NHLPA European media tour in Milan, Italy. «We need to get back to that, and then you can kind of work from there.»

Lindholm called out the Boston Bruins, stating that the culture of the team is poor at the moment.
«We've talked a lot about the Boston culture,» said Lindholm. «Every team has their own culture. We need to find how we're going to play with the guys that we have in that locker room early this year, because every year is unique. We know we have that Boston culture of how we want to play. I think the guys in the room need to really buy into what we want to accomplish out there.»

Completed move that will bring the Bruins back to playoff contention

He didn't just talk about bad things within the Boston Bruins, and recently pointed out a move the Boston Bruins completed that will help them get back into the playoffs sooner rather then later.
The Boston Bruins ended up getting a steal in the draft with James Hagens, selecting him 7th overall.
Lindholm praised recently drafted forward James Hagens, and Hagens is the type of player that can be game changing for the Boston Bruins.
«We've got some good draft picks,» Lindholm said. «I haven't met [James] Hagens yet, but I've heard great things. We have some really good veterans who have shown that they can win in this league. We just need to figure out to build around that. People are going to underestimate us, but I'm very optimistic. I think we've got some good things ahead.»
