Marco Sturm revealed new details on Hampus Lindholm's injury: It's better than expected

Entering the new season, a big question was whether or not defenseman Hampus Lindholm was going to be able to stay healthy or not.
In just their second game of the season, Lindholm ended up suffering an injury, and things were not looking good.
Especially considering the Boston Bruins announced that he would not return to the game after missing the final 8:04 of the first period.
No Hampus Lindholm to start the second. He did not play the final 8:04 of the first.
UPDATE: Hampus Lindholm (lower body) will not return to tonight's game.
The Bruins are now preparing to face off in their third game tonight against the Buffalo Sabres tonight and got some news regarding Lindholm.
Lindholm out day-to-day
Boston Bruins head coach Marco Sturm just announced that defenseman Hampus Lindholm is only going to be out day-to-day.
Sturm: Hampus Lindholm is day-to-day. Out tonight, but expected to be back on the ice tomorrow, and then they'll go from there.
This is a massive sigh of relief for the Boston Bruins, considering how much of a better team the Bruins are when he's in the lineup.
Just before the season began, the Boston Bruins ended up announcing him as an alternate captain.
Losing his leadership off the ice is a massive loss for the Bruins, but thankfully he will back in the lineup soon.
