Entering the new season, the Boston Bruins are looking to make it back to the playoffs, and now they are linked to sending one of their top prospects to the Edmonton Oilers in a trade that could benefit them next season.
At the NHL trade deadline, Don Sweeney ended up moving on from a lot of big named players to start the Bruins retool.
They have started to assemble a much younger team, but are still looking to be competitive next year and are looking to make it back to the NHL playoffs.
Both Casey Mittelstadt, and Pavel Zacha have been the center of attention in trade rumors this off-season, but now a new Boston Bruins name has surfaced.
Boston Bruins top prospect Fabian Lysell linked to the Edmonton Oilers
Recently, a Boston Bruins centric YouTube channel has started a new rumor involving Fabian Lysell, linking him to the Edmonton Oilers.
«Dominic Tiano suggested in my Discord that the Boston Bruins and the Oilers have been having conversations and that Fabian Lysell's name has popped up more than once,» Court Lalonde of Bruins Diehards said.
Previous to this, Lysell has not been linked to the Edmonton Oilers, but Dominic Tiano has made reports similar to this before.
Just recently, he reported that the Boston Bruins made a trade offer for Columbus Blue Jackets former first-round pick, Yegor Chinakhov.

It wouldn't be a shock if the Boston Bruins and Edmonton Oilers were in talks to make a trade, as they recently made a trade involving Trent Frederic.
