This just in: Moments before puck drop, Boston Bruins head coach Marco Sturm announced a last-minute roster transaction, and a defenseman has been removed from the lineup.
After a blowout loss to the Ottawa Senators last night, head coach Marco Sturm isn't sitting around.
Instead, he is making some changes before their back-to-back and has removed a defenseman from the lineup.
Along with that,
Jonathan Aspirot, who was just
recalled the other day, will make his NHL debut on the blue line for the Bruins in place of Lohrei.
With Swayman playing last night for the Bruins, the net gets shifted over to
Joonas Korpisalo.
Aspirot makes NHL debut. Hampus is back. Lohrei out. Callahan down. Korpi in. Forwards are the same. We'll recap it tonight! #NHLBruins #GetBent
Bruins make no changes up front
Despite having a hard time scoring goals recently, the Bruins announced that they will not be making any changes up front with their forwards.
Sturm:
Hampus Lindholm and Jonathan Aspirot are in tonight. Mason Lohrei is a healthy scratch.
No changes up front.
Korpisalo in net.
As of right now, the Bruins are sitting 4-7-0 on the season, and look to improve to 5-7-0 tonight with a big win over the Islanders.
Do you think removing defenseman Mason Lohrei from the lineup was a good move by Bruins head coach Marco Sturm?
