Boston Bruins confirm their starting goaltender for tonights game vs Flyers

The Boston Bruins are coming off of a 4-3 overtime win against the Toronto Maple Leafs which snapped a three-game losing streak for the Boston Bruins, and now they are looking to turn their win into the start of a winning streak against the Philadelphia Flyers tonight.

The Boston Bruins have already confirmed who will be starting the game tonight, and it will be Joonas Korpisalo. Jeremy Swayman stayed on the ice late with Boston Bruins extra skaters following morning skate. The players that stayed with Swayman were Tyler Johnson, Max Jones, and Parker Wotherspoon.

Jeremy Swayman has gotten the start for the Boston Bruins in their last four games taking on the Utah Hockey Club, Nashville Predators, Dallas Stars, and the Toronto Maple Leafs, where he lost all of the games except the game against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Swayman so far this year in seven games has a 3-3-1 record, with a 2.97 goals against average, and .900 save percentage.

Joonas Korpisalo on the other hand has not started a a game since October 16th when he took on the Colorado Avalanche posting 22 saves in a Bruins 5-3 win.

Korpisalo has appeared in just two games with the Boston Bruins so far this season and has a 1-1-0 record with a .850 save percentage and a 4.58 goals against average. The game Korpisalo suffered a loss in was the first game of the season when the Boston Bruins lost 6-4 to the Florida Panthers.
