On Sunday, ahead of their game against the San Jose Sharks, the Boston Bruins got key forward Elias Lindholm back.

The Bruins announced ahead of their game against the San Jose Sharks that they are activating Lindholm off of injury reserve.
#NHLBruins have added forward Elias Lindholm (Date of Injury: Oct. 30) to the active roster and placed defenseman Charlie McAvoy (Date of Injury: Nov. 15) on injured reserve.
Lindholm has been out of the Bruins lineup since October 30th after suffering a lower-body injury.
Following their 3-1 loss to the Sharks on Sunday night, Lindholm spoke on returning back to the lineup after playing 15:41 of ice time.

Lindholm speaks on his return to the lineup

«It was good to be back,» Lindholm said on Sunday, as seen on NESN's postgame coverage. «It was one of those games where you just try to get the rhythm going and do the best you can. Happy to get one out of the way for sure.»

Even though Lindholm did not record a point and the Bruins lost, he was impressed with his own play and feels like it's something he can build off of.
Lindholm was pretty frustrated with how the team played and felt like they put themselves in the position to lose after taking too many penalties.
«We just took too many penalties,» Lindholm said. «I thought we played well in the second there, had all the momentum, and then took too many penalties. Just killed us a little bit. After that, I don't know, too many penalties. It is hard to win games in this league when you're in the box that much.»

The Bruins are now 13-11-0 and are set to return back to the ice on Wednesday night against the New York Islanders.
