Frederic Brunet, Riley Duran, Brett Harrison and Fabian Lysell to report to Providence.
Merkulov has had a lot of hype around him, as he has been good in the AHL for the Bruins, but has had a tough time to translate this to the NHL.
During camp, he didn't look too special, and the Bruins gave him, along with Fabian Lysell one last chance against the Washington Capitals last night to prove he belongs with the NHL group, but failed to do so.

Bruins prospects given another chance

Tomorrow night, the Boston Bruins are facing off against the New York Rangers in their final preseason game, and there are a couple of players that are going to be given another chance to crack the NHL roster.
Players like Alex Steeves, Johnny Beecher, Fraser Minten, Matthew Poitras, and Marat Khusnutdinov all have another chance to impress the Bruins coaching staff.

NHL roster deadline is due on Monday, so the Bruins will have one more round of roster cuts before than.
