When looking at their current roster heading into the 2025-26 season, it's clear that the Boston Bruins need to add more skill.
At least, the Boston Bruins should be looking to add another top-six forward.
There are multiple players that the Bruins could look into, but one that really stands out is a 23-year-old Minnesota Wild player.
Boston Bruins should trade for Marco Rossi
Marco Rossi is a restricted free agent, but his name has been in trade rumors since the 2024-25 regular season came to an end.
Rossi has been linked to the Boston Bruins multiple times throughout the off-season so far, and there is a good reason for it.
Adding a young, talented player into the Boston Bruins top-six would instantly make them a way better team heading into the new season.
Rossi took a big step forward with the Minnesota Wild last season, setting new career highs in goals (24), assists (36), and points (60) in 82 games.
He ended up scoring 21 goals, and 40 points in his first full season in the NHL during the 2023-24 season.
Rossi has shown that he has the potential to be a impactful player in a teams top-six, and the Minnesota Wild and Rossi have not seen eye to eye hence the reason they have been trying to shop him.
Another very appealing factor about acquiring Rossi is the fact that he is only 23-years-old, and has not even hit his prime yet.
The price to acquire him is not going to be cheap, but he would instantly make the Boston Bruins a way better team.
