Boston Bruins to officially replace Jake DeBrusk with former 100+ point player in latest trade proposal

The Boston Bruins are still looking for a top-six forward, and now Heavy.com has proposed a trade that would see the Boston Bruins officially replacing forward Jake DeBrusk.
All off-season long, the Boston Bruins have been a team involved in a lot of trade rumors, and it's continuing.
With the Bruins looking to get back into the playoffs in the 2025-26 season, they have been linked to multiple players.
Recently, a new player was linked to the Boston Bruins in Calgary Flames forward
Jonathan Huberdeau.
Boston Bruins would officially replace Jake DeBrusk in trade with the Calgary Flames
If the Boston Bruins were to complete this trade, they would officially replace Jake DeBrusk, who they ended up losing for free last free agency to the Canucks.
In this trade proposal, it sees the Boston Bruins acquiring Jonathan Huberdeau, in return for
Casey Mittelstadt.

This one-for-one trade would give the Calgary Flames some much needed cap space, while it would give the Boston Bruins a player that would fit perfectly into their top-six.
Just a couple years ago,
Huberdeau ended up scoring 30 goals, 85 assists for 115 points in 82 games.
