Bruins complete a surprising transaction with Mason Lohrei
In a recent press statement, Boston Bruins' General Manager Don Sweeney announced that Mason Lohrei has been moved to Providence.
Before the decision, coach Jim Montgomery mentioned the possibility of sending Lohrei down to"get some playing time."

Coach Montgomery confirmed that Kevin Shattenkirk will return to the lineup, and they're evaluating who should play based on recent performances and the upcoming opponent.
Lohrei's move coincides with Derek Forbort's return from injury. Montgomery hopes Lohrei could be an option "down the line" in the playoffs but knows it'll take time.
