The Bruins were just on the wrong end of one the 'Saves of the Year' by Capitals' Charlie Lindgren, who just happened to do it barehanded.
No Glove? No Problem!
Early in the third period, Lindgren lost his glove during a net front scrum. The refs kept the play going while the Bruins had possession, which led to perhaps the save of the season on Pavel Zacha. See below:
It doesn't appear as though the puck catches him right in the barehand, but a terrific save, nonetheless.
Unfortunately, Lindgren was forced out of the game in Boston just moments later, after yet another highlight reel save.
